Project description

Django based licensing tool for one of the biggest German publishing Houses.

Cornelsen Verlag is of the biggest German corporate textbook publishers, that offers educational media in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It offers learning and teaching materials in different media types. It is a company of the Franz Cornelsen Bildungsgruppe and operates under Cornelsen Verlag GmbH.

I was working on the internal system enhancing the licensing and copyright checkups of the media used in the house's products and digitalization of the company's legal base knowledge.

Based on Django and hosted on AWS, the tool is able to support automatic analysis of the agreements and limitations of the copyright contracts and the usage compliance in the context of particular products of the company. I was particularly responsible for the optimization of the processes, increasing the performance as well as the development and improvement of the user experience.
